Subject: A time for all things under the sun but a time will come.
One of the telltale signs for the return of Jesus Christ is that which is being echoed in the media at large today. They will be eating and drinking as though there were no end in sight.
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Written of course, to the church, but notice that which was written unto the Jew that they may know and understand.

Hosea 6:1-2
It has been 2 days or 2,000 years since Christ was on the earth and evil has gone from nation to nation and the gospel has been published in all nations of the earth. When Christ was in the garden he prayed unto the Father stating, Father, as I have glorified the on the earth, glorify me with the glory I had with you from the beginning, to which the Father answered the Son, I have glorified thee and I will glorify thee, the distance between have and will (glorify) is the distance of the cross which after Jesus arose from the dead stated unto Mary, Touch me not for I have not ascended unto my Father and your God. Afterwards Jesus was with the disciples to which Thomas stated, I will not beleive unless I touch the nail scarred hands and put my hand into his side, Christ allowed Thomas to do so to the which Thomas stated, My LORD and my God. (see John 20:25-28) In this place the LORD is spelled with all capitals the same as in Hosea 6:1-2 which denotes the glorified Jesus. Not all bibles have the capitalized LORD as they should, as it is written this way in the new testament about 4-5 times to emphasize that which the Father promised the Son was accomplished the capitalization of the LORD showing the glory to which Christ had before with the Father shown throughout the old testament. Even if men know the truth they will not proclaim it much like Jonah who was afraid of the mockery he would have to endure as did Noah if God did not destroy Ninevah to which of course God did about 300 years later. However, Christ did state if you are ashamed of me before men I will be ashamed of you before my Father. We do not want our children to be ashamed of us but we do not care to be ashamed of what people may think if we state that which is truth, but on the same hand we want Jesus to save all our families - ironic isn't it? The old Mexican proverb still fits, Your meen weel be like your womeen and your womeen will be like your macho. poste: In the third day they, the Jew will live in HIS sight, we entered the third day minus 3 or 4 years due to the birth and age of Christ (give or take) and minus the Seven Year interlude where they will be torn/smitten and healed and bound up in his love and mercy and that without works of their own to which God will place within their heart love and grace (see: Ezekiel 36:21-22) nuff said - for now.
