Iraq al-Qaida Says Pope, West Are Doomed

al-Qaida in Iraq Tells Pope That Holy War Will Continue Until Victory of Islam Over West

Iraqis burn an effigy of Pope Benedict XVI during a demonstration, in Basra, Iraq's second-largest city, 550 kilometers (340 miles) southeast of Baghdad, Monday Sept.18, 2006.The demonstration was against his speech last week in Germany, particularly his quoting of a medieval text that characterized some of the teachings of Islam's founder as "evil and inhuman" and referred to spreading Islam "by the sword." Benedict said Sunday that he is "deeply sorry" his remarks on Islam. (AP Photo/Nabil Al- Jurani)

CAIRO, Egypt (AP) - Al-Qaida in Iraq and its allies warned Pope Benedict XVI on Monday that he and the West were "doomed" and proclaimed that the holy war would continue until Islam dominates the world.
The Mujahedeen Shura Council, an umbrella organization of Sunni Arab extremist groups that includes al-Qaida in Iraq, issued a statement on a Web forum about the pope's remarks last week on Islam. The authenticity of the statement could not be immediately independently verified.
"You infidels and despotic, we will continue our jihad (holy war) and never stop until God avails us to chop your necks and raise the fluttering banner of monotheism when God's rule is established governing all people and nations," the statement said.
The group said Muslims will be victorious and addressed the pope as "the worshipper of the cross" saying "you and the West are doomed as you can see from the defeat in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya and elsewhere ... We will break up the cross, spill the liquor and impose head tax, then the only thing acceptable is a conversion (to Islam) or (killed by) the sword."
Islam forbids drinking alcohol and requires non-Muslims to pay a head tax to safeguard their lives if conquered by Muslims. They are exempt if they convert to Islam.
The statement said that the Quran tells Muslims in many occasions that "jihad continues and should never stop until dooms day where this religion ends victorious."
The group also accused U.S. President George W. Bush of initiating the "new Crusades campaign against Islam by his invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq while the servant of the cross, the pope of the Vatican, is continuing this path by his blatant attack on Islam, its prophet ... and especially his talk about jihad."
Benedict on Tuesday in Germany had quoted from a book recounting a conversation between 14th century Byzantine Christian Emperor Manuel Paleologos II and an educated Persian on the truths of Christianity and Islam.
"The emperor comes to speak about the issue of jihad, holy war," the pope said.
"He said, I quote, 'Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached,'" he quoted the emperor as saying.
The pope on Sunday said that he was "deeply sorry" about the angry reaction and said the remarks came from a text that didn't reflect his own opinion.

THE END OF AMERICA AND THE PROTECTION OF ISRAEL
As noted above the end of America is at hand and many will be upset at such a declaration but the recent gathering in Cuba and the alliance of the Islamic world do forecast the end of America's role as both protector and allegiance with the country of Israel. This must occur as Israel must turn it's face toward God for it's survival and salvation as predicted by the old testament prophets and especially that of the book of Lamentations.
As for us, our eyes as yet failed for our vain help: in our watching we have watched for a nation that could not save us. LAMENTATIONS 4:17

Hello Spantalk and all,

There is no truth without discernment and taking this situation out of context will never solve this world's problems. The straw that breaks the camel's back always follows the results of earlier deeds.

The Pope's choice of words were brain dead, in my humble opinion, if he was seeking to spread peace. He could have appealed for cooler heads and humility from all sides using any other words, but instead he chose to quote Crusade era hypocrisy that was guaranteed to inflame Muslims. Now we see the backtracking and spinning that always follows the gaffes of those afraid of simply telling the truth.

More proof that religion is the opposite of truth, wisdom, and justice

The "infallible" Grand Inquisitor (the pot) sought to lecture Islam (the kettle) about spreading religion through dark deeds by quoting a Dark Ages text while the USA and Europe are in the midst of the Neo-Crusades. The irony and absurdity in this situation is amazing, to say the least. It evidences both the fallacy and fallibility of those who vainly and arrogantly pretend to serve the Creator.

Dear Pope, ever heard of Karma or the golden rule? Ever stop to remember how the Vatican and western nations became so rich and powerful over the centuries? Ever consider giving up your blood drenched wealth and earthly power to end the blatant hypocrisy of your vane, materialistic, and duplicitous empire? Ever think of forgoing your peacock's robes to walk the walk instead of simply talking the talk? Remember the "eye of the needle" and "log and mote in the eye" parables? Is this a demonstration of your infallibility, wisdom, or utter blindness? As another wise one once said; What goes around comes around!

The West has killed far more Muslims (and other dark skins) than they have killed westerners, yet our press and leaders can only see Muslim and "third world" desperation in the face of western military and economic dominance and oppression, (in the name of God and country, by the way), as sources of evil in this world.

Guess what guys and girls, war, violence, and injustice are evil, no matter what the excuse or cause or who is doing it to whom. Anyone who thinks the Creator would judge religion, war, or any other profiteering at the expense of others as wise or acceptable activities has a very big surprise in store.

Here is Wisdom!!
...and here too...

seven star,
I do appreciate your comments tremendously (really do) however, one must admit death is occurring in the hood and people are afraid and they have a right to be afraid as these that commit terror are increasing. In the Pope's comments he committed error in the reading of the former clergy's opinion or statement, if he chooses to recant the formers statement then he the Pope shows that the Vatican is fallable and being so the Vatican does not represent God from his throne. He would have done well not to have commented however, it is to late now. I wonder seven star to what do you hold allegiance, what is your fundemental belief? you have intrigued my curiousity, also just for humour sake you might want to visit a site called http://gosnakeouthouse.blogspot.com/ again I thank you for your comment I do like your visit.

In visiting your website I noticed that you stated when "Money is abolished then man would be free" and I noticed two things which stood out boldly, actually three, first you are in the education field I would have expected as much.Second you have books you wish to sell, which in and of itself is O.K. but in your statement it makes you a hypocrite much like the statement of the Pope. Third, you do not invite public opinion or comment on your website which means you are using other websites to self-promote your books(mainly) and opinions which are nothing more than proclaiming yourself to be a god and the Bible states "Ye say ye are gods, but ye shall die as men."
I would have thought that you would have been an educator or teacher.
